Watch the Meeting Live or On-Demand
If you wish to watch the meeting but not offer comment during the period available for public comment, please click the link below to view the Gratiot County Board of Commissioners YouTube Channel. Meetings will be live-streamed and will remain posted after the meeting is finished.
If you plan to make public comment, it is encouraged that you contact the County Clerk’s Office at 989-875-5297 or via email before noon on the day of the meeting. Please include your name and phone number. This assists the meeting moderator in unmuting individuals when it is their turn to speak. Those wishing to make public comment during the meeting must join the Zoom meeting. The meeting ID and password needed to connect to the meeting are located on the Meeting Notice.
Tips on Making a Public Comment in a Virtual Meeting
If you did not contact the County Clerk with your intent to make a public comment prior to the meeting, please click the Raise Hand button in the Zoom application to indicate to the meeting moderator that you wish to speak. The moderator will relay this to the Board and unmute you during the public comment period.
If you have connected to the meeting by telephone rather than the application, you can raise your hand by dialing *9. You can unmute yourself by dialing *6.
If you are having difficulty using the Zoom application (you can’t figure out how to install Zoom, connect to the meeting, raise your hand, or unmute yourself) you may prefer to call in rather than use the application as it eliminates many technology variables.
It is a good idea to download, test, and familiarize yourself with the application prior to joining the meeting.
If you have questions please email the meeting moderator. Please note that during a virtual meeting, this inbox may only be checked intermittently by the meeting moderator as time allows.
